iRest Yoga Nidra is a form of guided mindfulness meditation. It has been researched and proven to be a powerful tool to help eliminate stress, overcome insomnia, solve problems, resolve trauma, and neutralize anxiety, fear, grief, anger and depression.
It is a unique 10 stage process that guides a person through an exploration of intention, heartfelt desire, inner resource, physical sensation, breath and energy, feelings and emotions, cognition and imagery, joy and equanimity, pure awareness, and a reintegration - acknowledging that everything is okay just as it is.
This is a systematic and direct process for leading the body and mind into progressively receptive states of relaxation and to enter into a deeper connection with all of life.
